Hi, I’m Jordan Steele. I have recently graduated from Huntington University with a B.S. in Film Production and a semester’s study at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center. My passion and interests are primarily in production/camera operation and post-production/editing. I started making films in high school in 2003 with a friend’s DV cam and have been learning ever since as I advance my knowledge, technique, and form in this storytelling medium. My experience ranges from my most recent internship at Panavision in Hollywood, CA where I had the chance to work with leading film & broadcast cameras to Huntington University in Indiana where I was a part of multiple award-winning short and feature films. I have experience being a director, an editor, a director of photography, and a camera assistant. I have had a chance to shoot on digital cinema camera, DSLRs, and HD cameras with and without 35mm adaptors, and have learned on 35mm and 16mm film as well. I am well versed in professional grade software like Final Cut Studio, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop. I have worked on a wide variety of projects; projects ranging from a 50-minute feature, to documentary PSAs, to music videos and to my own few short films. I currently reside and work in Los Angeles, California and am always eager and willing to learn new things.
